What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Kitchen Manager (FULL-TIME) position at Eggs Up Grill?
Eggs Up Grill is hiring for an ASSISTANT KITCHEN MANAGER to join our team!!
We serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily from 6am to 2:00pm. Work with us and be home in time for dinner. Must be a great multitasker, professional, and have previous cooking experience in a fast paced restaurant. At least 1 year experience as a supervisor/kitchen lead/manager is required.
- This is a full-time position. Serious applicants only!
- Must be available on the weekends & holidays
- Rate of pay is negotiable and depends on the skillset and level of training
Details:
- Prepare and follow recipes.
- Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared.
- Clean the back of the house work stations to ensure sanitation and cleanliness
- Work as a team with other back of the house staff
- Enter inventory and food orders
- Must be able to manage inside expo and communicate with the team to ensure order accuracy and ticket times
- Must be able to communicate and train other team members
- Written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Must be familiar with catering setup and food presentation
- Controlling of labor costs and food waste is essential
- Must posses updated Manager's Certificate

REQUIREMENTS
- Running inside expo is required
- MANAGER food handling certificate
- Weekends (including Friday, Saturday, Sunday) and holidays
- Opening shifts 5am (on occasion 4am)
