If you're a student at UMass Lowell, Middlesex Community College, or Lowell High School and looking for part-time work that fits around your life, Eggroll Cafe is hiring baristas and servers this summer to prepare for the fall semester. We're a local small business with a welcoming team, good pay, and real flexibility — no corporate red tape, just good food, great drinks, and extraordinary people.
We work around your class schedule, mid terms, finals week, and your summer plans. Whether you need 20 hours a week or 40, we'll build a schedule that works for you.

What you'll be doing
As a barista and server at Eggroll Cafe, no two shifts are exactly the same. You'll be the face of the cafe — welcoming customers, crafting drinks, running food and making sure every guest leaves happy. Day to day, you can expect to:
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Prepare a full menu of drinks including bubble teas, coffees, lattes, espressos, and teas
- Take orders in person and over the phone
- Learn and memorize our full food and drink menu (we'll help you get there!)
- Plate and run food out to customers in a timely way
- Keep the bar, dining area, and workspace clean and well-stocked
- Restock supplies and assist with general cafe upkeep
- Help with dishwashing and equipment cleaning as part of shared team duties
What we're looking for
You don't need a long resume — you just need the right attitude. We welcome first-time job applicants and will train the right person. That said, you'll be a great fit if you:
- Are reliable, punctual, and take your commitments seriously
- Enjoy working with people and have a naturally friendly demeanor
- Can stay calm and focused when things get busy
- Are comfortable being on your feet for a full shift
- Have experience in food service, retail, or a small business setting — a plus, but not required
A note on experience
Candidates with prior experience at fast food chains, coffee shops, cafes, or small businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. But if this would be your first job and you've got the drive to learn, we want to hear from you too.
