Job Description:
EGAN|SIMON architecture is seeking a motivated and experienced full-time Project Manager with 5 years’ experience to manage projects, from conceptual design through completion. A candidate should be able to coordinate and manage all aspects of projects, lead and mentor junior staff, and develop strategic plans to ensure project success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective project delivery with an emphasis on design excellence.
- Responsible for innovative design solutions and for the promotion of technologically advanced systems and materials in relation to a holistic building design
- Manage project budgets, schedules, programs, communications, documentation, and project team assignments within established office protocols.
- Serve as Client liaison to ensure delivery of projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
- Works with Principals to estimate fees, define the scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
- Develops design solutions and creates project plans. Works independently on architectural design projects and coordinates project design efforts for all phases of one or more projects, and has responsibility for preparing presentation and design drawings.
Job Requirements:
- Architectural License preferred but not required, professional degree in architecture
- Seven or more years of experience in commercial and/or residential projects
- Proficiency in Building and Zoning code analysis
- AutoCAD proficiency required (Revit proficiency preferred but not required)
- Ability to work both collaboratively with a team and independently.
