What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ag Equipment Operator position at Egan Land and Cattle LLC?
Worker will be required to perform a variety of job duties under SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as hay, silage, grain, corn; Set up, operate, and repair irrigation equipment for watering crops; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or underfilling bed or trailer, and drive to market or storage facilities; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm structures; Mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery; Attach implements using hand tools. Must speak and understand English.
