EG Workforce Solutions is seeking an individual to help tear down receiving conveyors for a retail store. This is a hands-on mechanical position that will have you working with current technology to tear down the conveyor sections. The position is for 160 hours max, about 2 days per week for 8 weeks (15 actual working days total). We will need you to provide your own basic hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and a hammer.
The ideal candidate has basic mechanical skills and abilities, is eager to work, and can follow directions closely. Attendance and a strong ability to learn are critical to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Tear down and rebuild receiving conveyors
- Disassemble 2 complete conveyor sections per every 8 hour shift
- Provide your own basic hand tools
- Attend and complete safety orientation training before starting work
- Work 2-3 days per week for 8 weeks
Qualifications:
- Basic mechanical skills and abilities
- Strong ability to learn
- Can follow directions closely
- Reliable attendance
- Must provide basic common size SAE wrenches, ratchets and SAE sockets, a #2 Phillips and standard flat tip screwdriver, and a hammer.
Schedule/Pay:
$17.00 per hour
1st Shift 7am-3:30pm, 2-3 days per week for 8 weeks (160 hours max)
