About The Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This position offers hands-on experience in tax preparation, client service, and accounting operations. The schedule will begin at approximately 20 hours per week and ramp up to 32 hours per week as the busy season progresses.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Organize and maintain client tax documents and supporting schedules
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
• Research basic tax issues and help develop client-ready memos or summaries
• Support the tax team in responding to client inquiries and requests
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and regulatory standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Successful completion of at least one taxation or accounting course preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of accounting software (tax software experience a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
