Job Summary
English For You (EFY) Language School seeks a dedicated and qualified English Language Instructor to join our Intensive English Program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English Language Teaching (ELT) and demonstrate the ability to deliver engaging, effective instruction to adult learners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the program’s curriculum and learning objectives, integrating reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Teach key aspects of the English language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic writing, with an emphasis on communicative competence.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support students’ language development and academic progress.
- Create an inclusive, learner-centered classroom environment that respects and values cultural diversity.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based teaching methods and instructional technologies to enhance student engagement and support diverse learning styles.
- Assess student progress using quizzes, assignments, and other evaluation tools in accordance with program policies.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and institutional initiatives as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in TESOL.
- Minimum of two years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adult learners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices in English language teaching and assessment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching in an intensive English program.
- Familiarity with communicative language teaching methodologies.
- Experience using technology-enhanced language learning tools.

- Work Schedule
Classes are scheduled in two-hour sessions. Available teaching shifts may include 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., depending on program needs.
