Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective customers through outbound calls, walk-ins, and digital channels to generate new sales opportunities.
- Conduct personalized vehicle demonstrations, highlighting features and benefits tailored to each customer’s preferences.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline by prospecting B2B (business-to-business) clients and retail customers alike.
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize customer satisfaction and dealership profitability.
- Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, financing options, and accessories to enhance customer value.
- Manage inventory control and assist in merchandising efforts to ensure optimal presentation of vehicles on the lot.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone, email, or in person while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure smooth transaction processes from initial contact to final delivery.
- Stay informed about current market trends, competitive offerings, and new vehicle features to provide expert advice during customer interactions.
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or automobile sales with a strong track record of closing high-end deals.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clientele.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage a busy sales pipeline efficiently.
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for pricing strategies and deal calculations.
- Skilled in public speaking and effective presentation techniques to engage customers confidently.
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards, dealership operations, and inventory control practices.
- Outbound sales expertise including cold calling techniques and marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Customer service orientation with excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to support ongoing client relationships.
