What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Estimator/Preconstruction Manager position at EFI USA?
EFI USA is seeking a motivated Project Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to support our growing preconstruction and estimating team. This role works directly with project owners, engineers, and internal teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates and proposals for specialty construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support conceptual, schematic, and detailed estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs, cost modeling, and pricing
- Prepare proposal scopes, clarifications, and supporting documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, vendors, and EFI staff
What We’re Looking For:
- 0–5 years in estimating, preconstruction, or project engineering (or relevant degree)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
- Ability to interpret drawings/specs and work in a fast-paced environment
