Job Overview
Effy Jewelry is seeking a highly organized, creative, and culturally connected Social Media & Content Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our organic social media presence. This role will partner closely with the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to execute the brand’s social strategy, bringing campaigns to life through thoughtful planning, creative concepting, seamless execution, and performance analysis.
The ideal candidate lives and breathes social media. They have a deep understanding of digital culture, instinctively know what is resonating across platforms, and can translate emerging trends into elevated, luxury-first content that feels authentic to the Effy brand. They are equally comfortable developing big ideas, building organized content plans, collaborating across teams, and using performance data to continuously improve results.
This role requires being onsite five days a week at our NYC headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Social Media & Influencer Marketing to execute Effy’s organic social media strategy across all platforms.
- Own and manage the organic social content calendar, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key business initiatives.
- Conceptualize innovative content ideas, campaigns, recurring series, and storytelling opportunities that strengthen the Effy brand and drive engagement.
- Stay ahead of social media trends, emerging platforms, creators, and cultural moments, identifying opportunities to keep the brand relevant and culturally connected.
- Coordinate with internal teams, agencies, photographers, influencers, and creative partners to deliver high-quality content on schedule.
- Schedule and publish content across all social channels while maintaining a consistent brand voice and elevated visual identity.
- Collaborate closely with Product, PR, Creative, E-commerce, and Marketing teams to support launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Partner with the paid social team to develop creative informed by organic performance and apply paid learnings to future organic content.
- Build relationships with platform partners, including Instagram and TikTok, to stay informed on new features, best practices, and growth opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, preparing regular reports and executive presentations that provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry best practices, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate Effy’s social presence and keep the brand at the forefront of the luxury conversation.
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation, content planning, creative briefing, research, reporting, and workflow efficiency while maintaining Effy's premium brand standards.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience managing social media for a consumer-facing brand, preferably in luxury, fashion, beauty, jewelry, or lifestyle.
- Proven ability to identify trends and translate them into successful social content and campaigns.
- Experience managing content calendars and overseeing cross-functional content production.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms.
- Experience managing and developing creative talent.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and inform recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Sprout Social or similar social media management platforms, along with PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Excel.
Salary Range
$85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
