We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support for a client with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Histrionic Personality Disorder, and Borderline and Antisocial traits. This role requires patience, consistency, and the ability to implement structured routines while ensuring the client’s safety and well-being.
🧡 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and daily living assistance
- Support the client in maintaining daily routines and structured activities
- Offer companionship and emotional support while maintaining clear boundaries
- Implement behavior management strategies and follow care plans
- Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, and overall well-being
- Ensure a safe and respectful living environment
✅ Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license preferred
