Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
We are a small event rental company looking for a few part-time associates to assist us with deliveries and tent setups during the week. Ideally, the position would be two days a week as needed, depending on our delivery load, with flexible scheduling available. For deliveries involving tent setup a lunch stipend will be included on top of hourly pay.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks or cargo vans to deliver products to customers’ locations
• Safely load, unload, and transport rental inventory to customer locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner.
• Follow designated delivery routes accurately while managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing stock, moving inventory, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain the service and appearance of the transport vehicle, equipment, and inventory

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Repetitive bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items
• Frequent use of hands and feet to operateequipment and transport vehicles
• Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.; occasional liftingup to 90 lbs
• Some Night / Weekend work may be required

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving responsibilities involving box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently on a regular basis
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory
• Attention to safety and detail
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving inventory, and vehicle operation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 16 per week
