What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Set Up-Production Machinist position at Effort Foundry Inc?
EFI is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills, interpreting complex blueprints, and working with castings in a job shop environment. Knowledge of Fanuc conversational programming and Okuma Genos is a plus but not required.
Salary commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
* set up, program, operate CNC lathes an mills using Fanuc Conversational and Okuma Genos.
* Interpret and work from complex blueprints to ensure parts meet customer and internal specs.
*Measure, inspect, and validate castings before and after machining using calipers, micrometers, and various other measuring instruments
*Handle wide range of casting sizes and materials.
*Perform routine maintenance and maintain clean, organized workspaces.
* Follow safety standards in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Drug Testing will be performed as a precondition of employment.
This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
