Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair removal services such as body waxing, threading, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and care.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client goals, explaining treatment options, and answering questions confidently.
- Maintain strict sanitation and safety standards to ensure a hygienic environment for clients and staff.
- Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage daily operations efficiently.
- Assist clients with product recommendations for post-treatment care and ongoing maintenance.
- Stay current on the latest techniques in hair removal, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, and other aesthetic services.
- Support team members in maintaining a clean, organized workspace that adheres to all health regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales within the beauty or wellness industry is preferred.
- Certification or training in esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, hair threading, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of salon software platforms such as MINDBODY or similar systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Basic understanding of sanitation protocols and safety procedures in a salon environment.
- Cosmetology license or relevant certification required; additional skills in botulinum toxin treatment, dermal fillers, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, makeup application, barbering, or nail care are a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
