Effingham Pelvic Health & Wellness is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative & Patient Care Coordinator.
This is much more than a front desk position. As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience while helping support the day-to-day operations of our growing specialty physical therapy practice.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable using technology, can multitask in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in staying organized and learning new skills.
Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Welcome and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule
- Check patients out and collect payments
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and through email
Administrative Duties
- Manage our electronic medical record (Jane App)
- Use Google Drive, Gmail, and other Google Workspace programs daily
- Send and receive faxes
- Communicate with referring providers and physician offices
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments and plan of care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Assist with various office projects and administrative tasks
Clinic Operations
- Monitor and manage clinic inventory and supplies
- Complete daily laundry and maintain treatment rooms
- Assist in keeping the clinic clean, organized, and welcoming
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations
Growth Opportunities
As our clinic continues to grow, this position has the opportunity to expand into additional responsibilities, including:

Qualifications
Required
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable learning new technology and software
- Experience using computers daily
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience with Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Workspace
- Experience working in a medical office, physical therapy clinic, or customer service setting
- Experience with scheduling software or electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
