Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Registered Nurse provides direct and compassionate nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and post-surgical conditions. The RN is responsible for monitoring patient health, administering medications, coordinating care plans, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage IV lines.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards.
- Float to other units as needed based on patient census.
Requirements:
- Active RN License (New York)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and time-management skills
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,160.00 per week
