Medical Assistant

Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will support daily clinical and administrative tasks, assist providers with patient care, and help ensure smooth clinic operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for exams
• Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient information
• Assist physicians/nurses with procedures and clinical tasks
• Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab tests (as permitted)
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
• Follow clinic policies, safety, and infection-control standards

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification
• BLS Certification
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Good communication and patient care skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Computer and EMR/EHR experience is a plus

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
