Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for patients under the supervision of physicians. This role requires proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment to capture images and conduct examinations related to cardiac anatomy and function.
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiogram procedures and vascular ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians.
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images and conduct tests for cardiovascular conditions.
- Assist physicians in interpreting diagnostic images and test results.
- Maintain patient records, documentation, and reports of procedures performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance standards in ultrasound imaging.
- Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort during procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year experience as a Echo Technician/Sonographer.
- ARDMS-RDCS required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred
- Proficient in operating ultrasound equipment and conducting diagnostic procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $62.00 - $67.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
