We are seeking an experienced, motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator specializing in excavator operations to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders.
- Perform site preparation activities including grading, leveling, trenching, and excavation to support construction projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members.
- Assist with material handling, loading and unloading construction materials using appropriate heavy machinery.
- Support paving operations by preparing surfaces and managing asphalt placement as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, or horizontal drills on construction sites.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and site layouts.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is advantageous.
