Role Overview:
We are seeking a permanent freelance Systems Administrator to support and manage a cloud-based
IT environment. The role focuses on Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration, remote
user support, and general systems operations. There are no on-premise or physical hardware
responsibilities.
Tasks:
- Administer users, groups, permissions, and licenses in Microsoft 365 and Google
Workspace.
- Provide remote technical support and resolve day-to-day system and access issues.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Communicate with users, vendors, and partners as needed.
- Maintain basic system and process documentation.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of virtual servers and virtual machines.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
- Experience providing remote systems support and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with virtual servers, virtual machines, and basic cloud infrastructure
concepts.
- Solid understanding of user management, access control, and identity concepts.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with ISO standards or other information security frameworks, audits, or
certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
