Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Chief Information Security Officer based in San Francisco, CA. The CISO will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Efani’s information security strategy, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all systems, apps and data. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing cybersecurity protocols, managing security operations, conducting risk assessments, overseeing incident response, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance application security and align security initiatives with business priorities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Information Security Management and Information Security practices
- Strong knowledge of Cybersecurity and proficiency in managing cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience in Application Security and developing strategies for securing software applications
- Proficiency in Business Continuity planning and implementation
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and develop mitigating strategies
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements in the cybersecurity space
- Advanced degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
