Job Description
EF Language Abroad is looking for dynamic, interactive, and energetic teachers to join our education team and are recruiting part-time ESL teachers for our summer program at our Miami Beach campus. Please note this position requires in-person teaching at our campus and not remote teaching.
The Role
Spend your summer teaching classes of 15-17 students of varying English proficiency from all over the world utilizing EF’s cutting edge in-house curriculum and methodology to lead interactive and hands-on classes. Add your own “sparkle” to the lesson plans to bring them to life and ensure your students are learning as much as they are having fun. EF provides dedicated face-to-face training as well as online training to ensure that you are prepared for your role. Our Academic Team will support your professional development as well as provide you with guidance throughout your tenure at the school.
Our summer program runs from June 29 th until August 21. Our classes are held from Monday to Friday between 8:30 and 17:05. Our student ages range from 15-70 . However, the majority of the students on our summer program are aged 15-18.
All candidates must have permission to work legally in the United States. We regret that we are not able to offer any visa sponsorship. As we have limited space in our Campus Residences, we regret that we are also unable to provide accommodation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Enthusiastic, energetic and a natural leader in the classroom.
- Responsible, approachable and friendly.
- Highly organized, flexible and global minded.
- 3 months of experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting with 15 students(Preferred).
- ESL or TEFL certified
- Special consideration given to candidates with CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, or EFL training
- Experience with standardized ESL exams, such as TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge a plus
