About Dose Daily
Dose Daily is a fast growing nutraceutical manufacturer seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, botanical testing, and cGMP compliance. This role partners closely with the Director of Quality and plays a key role in scaling quality operations as the business grows.
Position Summary
The Quality Manager will lead companywide quality systems and cGMP compliance while partnering closely with the Director of Quality. This role is hands on and strategic, overseeing botanical testing, supplier quality, regulatory readiness, and continuous improvement across raw materials, in process production, and finished goods. This position is critical to ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and scalable quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems and Strategy
Develop and maintain scalable quality systems aligned with FDA dietary supplement cGMPs
Create and manage quality documentation including SOPs, specifications, and test methods
Support company growth by building systems that scale with production
Regulatory and Compliance
Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 111 and 117, USDA Organic, USP, and AOAC standards
Lead and support regulatory audits and inspections including FDA, NSF, ISO, and Prop 65
Maintain documentation integrity and audit readiness
Testing and Laboratory Oversight
Oversee QC testing for botanicals, in process materials, and finished products
Apply analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, ICP MS, FTIR, UV Vis, TLC, and microbiological testing
Lead botanical species authentication using DNA barcoding or HPTLC
Manage method development, validation, and transfer
Supplier Quality and Raw Materials
Develop and manage supplier qualification and monitoring programs
Oversee vendor audits, raw material verification, and identity testing
Ensure suppliers meet quality and regulatory requirements
Continuous Improvement
Investigate deviations, OOS results, CAPAs, and quality complaints
Oversee stability and shelf life studies to support label claims
Evaluate and implement new quality technologies and testing methodologies
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and grow the quality team
Build a strong culture of quality ownership and accountability
Collaborate cross functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Operations
Qualifications
Required Experience
5 to 10 years of quality or QC experience in nutraceutical, herbal supplement, or botanical industries
At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong expertise in botanical identification and herbal testing
In depth knowledge of FDA dietary supplement regulations and quality systems
Experience leading audits and regulatory inspections
Technical Skills
Hands on experience with HPLC, GC, ICP MS, FTIR, UV Vis, TLC, and microbiological testing
Experience with botanical authentication methods
Knowledge of LIMS and quality documentation systems
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Botany, Natural Products Chemistry, or related field
Advanced degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Ayurvedic, TCM, or ethnobotanical ingredients
Knowledge of organic certification programs
Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
