Job Summary:

eEquals is seeking a skilled and seasoned Residential Solar Lead Installer AND Solar Installer to join our team specializing in residential solar installations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the solar industry and possess the necessary certifications to perform electrical work in residential settings.

Job Qualifications:

  • Installation: Install solar PV systems including solar panels, inverters, and racking on rooftops and ground mounts.
  • System Design: Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand system blueprints and layout plans.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality control measures to ensure systems are installed to company and industry standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair issues with solar energy systems.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally, answering questions and explaining system operation.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of installations, services, and repairs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other team members, including project managers, electricians, and apprentices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in solar installation or related fields a plus
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years construction experience required (i.e. know how to measure twice and cut once)
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 safety certification a plus.
  • Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
  • Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends and overtime as needed.
