Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery, ensuring precision and quality in production processes. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, and safety protocols to maintain efficient operations within our facility. Candidates with experience in fabrication, and materials handling will find this position particularly suitable. The Machine Operator plays a vital role in producing high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine set up and operate bag machine to convert rolls of film into finished product by meeting job specifications.
• Notify setup associate of any problems with finished product or machine issues so adjustment can be made.
• Check to make sure the finished product matches job jacket specifications.
• Perform quality checks throughout your shift and keep a close eye out for detail.
• Pre make boxes for finished product.
• document and record weight and time of every case produced on production sheet.
• Maintain product quality and complete all paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• Repetitive motion: Many tasks involve repetitive actions, such as loading materials, operating machinery, and packaging, which can cause strain over time.
• Lifting and carrying: Workers must be able to lift and carry materials, such as rolls of plastic film or finished bags, which can be heavy.
• Fine motor skills: Quality control, precision cutting, and intricate designs require good dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Stamina: Tasks like machine operation and material handling require stamina to work long shifts.

Pay: $ $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
