Pallet Shop Manager- *Night Shift*
Must have:
- Supervisor or management experience minimum of 3 years
- 2 plus years of forklift experience loading trailers
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Bilingual is a plus
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to use a computer, cell phone, respond to emails and QA loads
- Must be dependable with own vehicle
- Must be able to work as a team to accomplish goals for the night
Job Duties
- Will pull orders by specs
- Make sure all pallets are built to specs
- Make sure no nails are sticking up and/or that no boards are broken
- Double check stenciling on pallets to make sure they are correct by the specs
- Count pallets to make sure load count is correct
- Help load trailers (flats and vans) if needed
- Make sure load is bumped up (pallets are even and neatly loaded)
- Help strap trucks down if needed
- Using computer, Quality Assure pallets in APP
- Complete paperwork for the correct order
- While QA’ing the order, make sure trailer number is correct and the load has the correct count.
- Must be able to lead a team of 8-10 people
- Hours are from 5:30pm to 4:00AM
