Main Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern operates within their local team and supporting projects.
- Value Stream Mapping
- Capital Assets Identification & Organization
- Design and Build Oil Mist Cart
- New Product Roll-Out
- Reorganize Current Layout to Accommodate New Equipment
- Spec and Install Shop Floor Audible Break Signals
- Contribute to delivery of projects
- Direct responsibility for engineering activities
- To operate as part of local engineering team to share best practice, and support activities
- Working with our Engineering team to complete the task
- Education level: Undergraduate or graduate students. Typically rising juniors/seniors/graduate students; freshman & sophomores welcome.
- Relevant Previous experience: In relevant major for internship focus.
- Knowledge areas/Skills: Strong communication skills & attention to detail. Willingness to learn new skills & about vacuum technologies in a professional/dynamic environment
