Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing construction, fabrication, and crane services. Our team operates one of the largest fleets of road-ready hydraulic cranes in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.
We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment/Crane Diesel Mechanic in the Spring Hope, NC area. To excel in this role, you will need to meet certain physical requirements:
- Be able to walk/stand on various surfaces, including uneven or unstable ones, for extended periods.
- Work in confined spaces and climb with ease.
- Routinely lift up to 80 pounds and push up to 60 pounds.
- Demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
Requirements
- Possess at least 2 years of experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines.
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hold a valid Driver's License.
- Excel in communication skills and demonstrate a commitment to safety.
Additional Skills
- Maintain a clean Driving Record.
- Possess knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems (a plus).
- Have mechanical experience with cranes (a plus).
- Own all necessary tools for work.
- Bilingual Skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
