Responsibilities for the Pharmacy Technician:
Data entry of new and refill prescriptions
Filling of new and refill prescriptions
Maintain sufficient and accurate inventory
Resolve third party issues with payers and providers
Phone calls to assist with business associates, patients, and providers needs and/or relays information to administrative support staff to complete calls as needed
Coordinate vast interdepartmental patient care and service
Participate and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance improvement meetings
Assist Compliance Department to ensure pharmacy operations and personnel are following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Key Requirements:
Pharmacy Technician Certification from a nationally recognized agency. Willing to hire Registered Technicians with plans to become Certified within 6 months.
Ability to work in a rapidly growing and fast paced environment
Must possess and demonstrate excellent telecommunication skills and superb customer service
Proficient word processing abilities as well as computer/system navigation
Prior PioneerRx experience will be extremely beneficial
High School diploma or equivalent
