About the Role
As a Member Specialist I, you’ll be the face of Edwards Federal Credit Union—providing friendly, accurate, and efficient teller services while delivering the “Edwards Experience”. From processing everyday transactions to uncovering member needs through active listening, you’ll play a key role in supporting members’ financial journeys.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing) accurately and efficiently
- Balance cash drawers and promptly resolve discrepancies
- Actively listen to members to identify financial needs and refer products/services that may benefit them
- Assist members with inquiries related to accounts, transactions, and online banking services
- Support the plastic card program, including ordering, activating, and PIN assignments
- Monitor and document suspicious activity in accordance with security and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic understanding of credit union products and services
- Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using core banking systems and office equipment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior teller or cash handling experience preferred
- Professional demeanor, excellent customer service etiquette, and a commitment to confidentiality
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn
