Edwards Federal Credit Union is seeking an innovative and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Digital Services to lead the credit union’s digital banking channels, member account services, and deposit operations. About the Role
The AVP of Digital Services provides leadership and oversight for digital banking, account services, and deposit operations, including escheatments and IRA administration. This role plays a key part in advancing the credit union’s digital transformation efforts and enhancing the overall member experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Digital Integration
- Drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance convenience, efficiency, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to build and execute a multi-year digital services roadmap.
- Analyze member data and feedback to inform improvements in digital banking and deposit processes.
- Recommend technology integrations that improve the member experience and operational outcomes.
- Establish performance metrics and dashboards to measure success and adoption.
Digital Services Oversight
- Oversee daily performance of digital channels including online/mobile banking, bill pay, and RDC.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), assisting staff with complex digital issues.
- Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and cybersecurity standards are met.
- Maintain procedures and internal training related to digital platforms.
- Partner with IT, Compliance, Marketing, and Member Services to maintain compliance and promote digital adoption.
Member Account Services Operations
- Lead all account servicing functions such as account maintenance, corrections, closures, and research.
- Ensure compliance with Reg E, stop payments, deceased member handling, and related processes.
- Monitor daily activities for quality, timeliness, and internal control compliance.
- Support the resolution of escalated member concerns in a consistent and compliant manner.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all account servicing functions.
Escheatment & IRA Administration
- Oversee escheatment processes in alignment with state regulations and due diligence requirements.
- Manage dormant account reviews and related reporting.
- Administer IRA account setup, contributions, withdrawals, and annual IRS reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable IRS and NCUA regulations.
- Provide training and support on IRA and escheatment procedures.
Compliance, Risk, & Security
- Ensure compliance with NCUA, FFIEC, BSA/AML, OFAC, IRS, and internal policy requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks within digital and deposit operations.
- Maintain and test business continuity plans for critical systems.
- Support internal and external audits and oversee timely implementation of corrective actions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in digital banking, deposit operations, or electronic services in a financial institution.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Credit union experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of digital banking systems, core processing environments, escheatment, and IRA administration.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (NCUA, FFIEC, IRS, BSA/AML, OFAC).
- Excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to leadership, mentorship, and continuous learning.
- Preferred certifications: CIS I/II, AAP, CUNA/NAFCU digital or compliance certifications.
Pay: $86,754.00 - $108,442.00 per year
