Overview
Large, fast paced dental office in Asheboro, NC looking for a top tier certified Dental Assistant II looking for a career move. It does not happen often but we are looking for a long term employee to join our dental family. This is an opportunity to join our tight knit group that works hard together to provide top dental treatment to our long term patients. Must be a team player with exceptional skills and a willingness to learn. We are a privately owned practice with a single location for the last 50 years, and we are not corporate. This position is as one of two DAII's working with a single doctor/practice owner with 26 years of dental experience. We will consider assistants with 3-5 years experience looking to advance their skills and learn as well as more seasoned assistants with more experience who are ready to get to work as a team player.
Duties
- This is a heavy crown and bridge practice and most cases are scanned and manufactured in office using Cerec Prime Scan and Mill.
- Must be proficient in packing cord and scanning experience is a plus but not necessary as we will train you in scanning with our system.
- Other procedures: Implant restoration, endo, restorative, oral surgery.
- We use Dentrix Ascend and digital radiography, proficiency in taking x-rays a must.
- Expertise in infection prevention management, aseptic technique, sterilization procedures, and healthcare infection control protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages while demonstrating professionalism in a clinical setting
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
