What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Consultant position at Edwards Lawn & Landscaping?
Edward’s Lawn & Landscaping is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Consultant to join our growing team.
In this role, you’ll meet with clients at their homes to assess their landscaping needs, prepare detailed proposals, present them to clients, and follow up to close new work.
Typical landscape projects include, but are not limited to, property cleanups and mulching, planting and landscape bed enhancements, drainage and grading solutions, lawn renovations including seeding and sod installation, and hardscape projects such as patios, retaining walls, and walkways.
Project sizes typically range from $1,000–$5,000, with some larger projects reaching $25,000–$50,000 .
This is a high-volume, fast-paced outside sales environment, where you’ll typically meet with 15–25 clients per week and are expected to deliver proposals within 24–48 hours.
You’ll spend most of your week working remotely and traveling from appointment to appointment throughout your assigned territory. The sales territory covers most of Central Maryland, including Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George’s, and Carroll Counties.

💰 Compensation:
• $75,000-$125,000 is a realistic first-year earnings for a solid performer
