What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher World Language French Edward Little High School Anticipated position at Edward Little High School?
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly qualified World Language Teacher for grades 9-12. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a fellow foreign language teacher, as well as be student-centered with a strong knowledge of content, including best practices in foreign language instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction and the willingness to support the mission of the school department.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide opportunities for student involvement in the learning process
2. Teach based on the needs of the whole child
3. Organize materials for student learning
4. Provide appropriate feedback on student progress
5. Guide student behavior
6. Maintain a climate conducive to learning
7. Communicate effectively with parents and/or community
8. Plan for and engages in professional development
9. Comply with policies, operating procedures, and requirements
10. Maintain accurate student records
11. Work cooperatively with all staff
12. Perform other tasks and assumes other duties as may be assigned by the administrator.
