The Edward Jones Creative Agency is seeking a Senior Creative Copywriter who blends advanced experience in creative thinking, brand strategy, and multi-disciplinary writing skills. This role is ideal for a seasoned creative professional with a strong portfolio of big ideas that inspire action and elevate brands. You thrive in collaborative environments, especially in partnership with Art Directors, and bring a conceptual drive that translates across channels. Your work demonstrates a nuanced command of tone and voice, strategic insight, and the ability to influence stakeholders with compelling storytelling.

What you'll do...
  • Lead end-to-end omnichannel creative strategies for the firm's largest, most complex efforts and brand initiatives.
  • Partner with senior firm leaders and matrixed teams to develop and execute strategic messaging, campaign concepts, tactical ideation, and content execution.
  • Lead strategic messaging direction and ensure creative integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Translate complex issues into compelling, easy-to-understand messaging that persuades audiences to think, feel, or act.
  • Develop creative tailored to various media channels, ensuring contextual relevance and impact.
  • Navigate matrixed environments to gather stakeholder input and meet project deadlines.
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure alignment with brand voice and creative strategy.
What you'll need...
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Copywriter or Lead Copywriter in agency or big brand environments.
  • Deep understanding of channel best practices including social media, websites, email, direct mail, and digital media.
  • Experience in Agency Management, Campaign Management and Optimization, Communication/Messaging Strategy, Content Development, and Integrated Marketing Strategy.
  • Strong grasp of Marketing Analytics and Measuring Effectiveness across omnichannel campaigns.
**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**


Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
