Team Overview:
We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Lead Practice Strategy Consultant to serve as a senior advisor to some of the firm's largest and most sophisticated wealth management practices. This role supports teams managing $500 million to $1 billion in Assets Under Management (AUM), guiding advisors and branch leaders through complex growth, succession, acquisition, compensation, and business transformation initiatives.
As a trusted partner to senior leadership and top-producing advisors, you will design and deliver impactful consulting engagements that drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, advisor retention, and enhanced client experiences. This role requires a combination of strategic consulting expertise, financial acumen, organizational design experience, and executive-level influence.
The Lead Practice Strategy Consultant operates with a high degree of autonomy and visibility, helping to shape enterprise priorities while developing innovative solutions for the firm's most valuable practices.
What You'll Do
- Partners with financial advisors, practice leaders, and senior stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that drive business growth, profitability, and long-term enterprise value.
- Consult on advanced practice management initiatives, including organizational design, client segmentation, service models, capacity planning, and operational scalability.
- Advise on complex business decisions related to compensation structures, incentive programs, ownership models, succession planning, and team development.
- Analyze practice performance, financial results, and growth opportunities to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that enhance business outcomes.
- Lead strategic consulting engagements with advisor teams and leadership, facilitating alignment, influencing key decisions, and driving execution of business priorities.
- Support business transitions and growth initiatives, including acquisitions, succession events, team restructuring, and ownership changes.
- Develop and implement frameworks, tools, and thought leadership that elevate practice management capabilities and create scalable impact across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging growth strategies to help advisors and leadership teams navigate an evolving wealth management landscape.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field
- 8 to 10 years of experience years of experience in financial services or a related field, serving as a Senior Advisor to financial advisory practices with at least $500 million in assets under management (AUM) and supporting clients with sophisticated wealth management needs.
- Active Series 7 and 66 licenses
- An MBA or masters in a related field
- 10 plus years of experience years of experience in financial services or a related field, serving as a Senior Advisor to financial advisory practices with at least $500 million in assets under management (AUM) and supporting clients with sophisticated wealth management needs.
