Edward Jones is offering a dynamic 10-week summer internship designed to provide hands-on experience in a branch office environment. Interns will work closely with a Financial Advisor and client support team, gaining exposure to the financial services industry through meaningful assignments, professional development, and networking opportunities.
Through this experience, Edward Jones is committed to providing our interns with:
Real-World Experience: Support daily branch operations and observe client interactions to understand how Financial Advisors build relationships and deliver personalized financial strategies.
Professional Growth and Development: Participate in structured training and development sessions to build your knowledge of financial products, tools, and client service best practices.
Networking & Mentorship: Engage with branch and market leadership, attend group calls with fellow interns, connect with Product Partners to explore business-building ideas, and visit additional Financial Advisors in the field.
What You'll Do:
Observe the Financial Advisor during select meetings listening to clients' financial objectives, and understanding how they determine the best fit for their clients' needs.
Learn and apply technical tools used in client service and branch operations making the work of our branch teams easier.
Observe client appointments, phone calls, and prospecting efforts
Participate in pre-meeting strategy sessions with Financial Advisors
Attend product knowledge sessions with internal partners
Collaborate with other interns to share insights and experiences
What You'll Need:
Currently in college as a Junior or Senior
Availability to work out of one of our branches for 10 consecutive weeks from June through August with no conflicts in availability.
Enrollment in an undergraduate business-related program (CFP® track and/or apart of the NSSI program preferred)

Rising juniors or seniors pursuing a business-related undergraduate degree who is looking for an introduction to a financial services career under the guidance of an experienced Financial Advisor.
Passionate about understanding client needs and helping them achieve their goals while making a lasting impact.
Demonstrated leadership through campus or community involvement
Strongly motivated to success and interested in obtaining their CFP designation within the first few years of becoming a full time advisor.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
