Position OverviewAt Edward Jones, we build deep, personal relationships with our clients, and our Branch Office Administrators (BOAs) play a vital role in delivering that experience. As a BOA, you will partner closely with a Financial Advisor to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals by delivering exceptional service, operational support, and a welcoming branch environment.
This is a client-facing, full-time role that combines administrative excellence, relationship-building, and business support—all within a collaborative and mission-driven office.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver personalized, high-quality service to clients in person, over the phone, and via email
- Support the financial advisor in managing and growing the practice
- Schedule appointments, prepare for client meetings, and manage follow-ups
- Process client transactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with firm policies
- Organize and maintain client files and operational systems
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the client experience and branch efficiency
- Assist with marketing activities, client events, and community engagement efforts
- Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Experience in financial services, banking, or insurance
- Familiarity with CRM systems or client databases
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) or willingness to obtain industry licenses (Series 7 & 66)
