```Overview``` We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. As a Funeral Director, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to grieving families during their time of loss. You will be responsible for coordinating funeral arrangements, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. ```Duties``` - Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements and provide guidance on available options - Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including transportation of the deceased, preparation of the body, and scheduling of visitations and ceremonies - Assist families in selecting caskets, urns, and other funeral merchandise - Prepare obituary notices and arrange for their publication - Coordinate with clergy, cemetery personnel, and other service providers to ensure smooth execution of funeral services - Provide bereavement support to grieving families - Handle administrative tasks such as completing death certificates, filing necessary permits, and managing financial transactions ```Skills``` - Strong customer service skills to provide compassionate support to grieving families - Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand the embalming process and handle the deceased with care - Ability to sanitize and prepare the body for viewing or burial - Proficiency in funeral directing practices and procedures - Sales skills to assist families in selecting funeral merchandise - Basic cosmetology skills for preparing the deceased for viewing - Ability to provide bereavement support and comfort to grieving families - Physical strength for heavy lifting involved in moving caskets or equipment If you are a compassionate individual with excellent organizational skills and a desire to help others during difficult times, we would love to hear from you.
