Responsibilities:

• Fostering and supporting the Mission of EdVenture
• Welcoming the Museum’s visitors and members, providing the highest level of customer service.
• Responding to inquiries and concerns in a way that increases visitor satisfaction.
• Ensuring exhibit areas are re-set between visitor interactions.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the exhibits, common areas, and restrooms.
• Engaging with visitors to enhance their play and learning experience.
• Modeling inclusive, creative, and respectful play.
• Reporting any concerns, incidents, or safety issues to management.
• Participating in special activities and other projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must enjoy engaging with children and families.
• Keen listener with ability to address visitor concerns and de-escalate issues.
• Must have a commitment to diversity and work as a team player.
• Exhibit a positive and friendly demeanor and maintain a professional appearance.
• High School diploma, preferred.
• Must be able to present and communicate effectively with visitors, groups, and team members in a professional environment.
• Experience in guest services, education or museum operations strongly preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
