Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales & Events Specialist role based in Mesa, AZ. The Sales & Events Specialist supports the sales organization by planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows, conferences, user group meetings, webinars, and other customer-facing events. This role manages event logistics end to end, including venue coordination, registration, promotional materials, booth setup, and on-site support, while ensuring brand consistency and a positive attendee experience. The specialist partners closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop event strategies, prepare sales materials and presentations, and capture and follow up on sales leads generated from events. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining event calendars and budgets, tracking metrics and ROI, updating CRM records, and providing regular reports to sales leadership. The role also involves supporting sales initiatives between events, such as coordinating demos, assisting with proposals, and helping deliver customer training or informational sessions as needed.


Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.


  • Experience delivering or coordinating Training sessions, workshops, or product demonstrations for diverse audiences.


  • Event planning and coordination experience, including logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and on-site execution.


  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.


  • Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and familiarity with CRM systems


  • Proficiency with event management platforms (Cvent experience a plus)


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat


  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.


  • Experience in K–12 education technology, education, or software/SaaS environments is preferred but not required
