Overview
We are seeking a part-time Certified English and Math Teacher to join the educational team at Best Brains Redmond Northeast on Avondale Road. This role involves instructing the English language arts and Math concepts using the Best Brains curriculum in a classroom setting of 1:5. Materials will be provided by the management. Classes are 30 minutes per session and run for 2-2.5hours per day for two days.
Duties
- Utilize the Best Brains curriculum to instruct the subject material.
- Complete student progress report based on homework and classwork performance. Assess their performance on tests and adjust their learning goals as needed.
- Meet students where they're at in their understanding of concepts and support their educational goals.
- Manage students of different grades in a 1:5 classroom setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Math, Education, or a related field.
- Active Teacher's certification.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support student growth.
