About Eduexplora
Eduexplora is an international pre-college organization offering transformative academic programs for high school students from Latin America and around the world. This summer, we're bringing a cohort of talented students to UC Berkeley and we're looking for 7-10 Teaching Assistants to join our team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, on-campus position for someone who knows Berkeley well and thrives in fast-paced, multicultural environments. You'll work alongside instructors in STEM and Humanities cohorts, supporting classroom activities, mentoring students, and helping international participants navigate campus life.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with instructors across STEM and Humanities tracks
- Mentor international high school students throughout the program
- Support classroom logistics: setup, materials, and daily flow
- Facilitate communication between students, instructors, and program staff
Program Details
Dates: July 13-25, 2026 | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
In-person training: July 9-10, 2026
Compensation
$22/hour | Paid training | Breakfast and lunch included
Who We're Looking For
- Current UC Berkeley junior or senior, or recent graduate with strong campus familiarity
- Comfortable working with students in grades 7-12
- Strong communicator, organized, and adaptable
- Background in STEM or Humanities is a plus
- Prior mentoring or teaching experience valued but not required
