Intervention Specialist Opportunities – Elementary & Middle School

Location: Geneva, OH 44041

Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and student-centered Intervention Specialists to join our team for the upcoming school year. Multiple openings are available at both the elementary and middle school levels. Caseload assignments are consistent with Ohio Operating Standards, ensuring manageable student-to-teacher ratios and high-quality support for students.

Available Positions:

Elementary School (Grades 4–5)

• Provide special education services and instructional support for students in Grades 4–5.
• Maximum caseload: 16 students.

Middle School

• Emotional Disturbance (ED) Classroom
• Support students in a specialized ED classroom setting.
• Maximum caseload: 12 students.
• Autism Classroom
• Provide specialized instruction and support for students with autism.
• Maximum caseload: 6 students.
• Grades 6–8 Intervention Specialist
• Deliver special education services to students in Grades 6–8 across various educational settings.
• Maximum caseload: 16 students.

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and evidence-based instructional practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and success.
