Join ETS Research in advancing AI-supported learning and assessment for K-12 education. As a Research Associate in the Skills and Business Excellence group, you'll contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of education.

What You'll Do

• Conduct and support research projects with minimal supervision.
• Collect, code, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
• Design AI-supported assessment prototypes and contribute to API development for GenAI model testing.
• Collaborate with educators through co-design sessions to ensure classroom relevance.
• Create charts, tables, and visuals for reports and presentations.
• Co-author research reports, manuscripts, and presentation decks.
• Coordinate efforts across diverse teams including scientists, engineers, and program administrators.
• Continuously learn and apply new tools and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, learning sciences, cognitive science, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on research experience in educational settings.
• Demonstrated experience in K-12 STEM education and assessment design.
• Proven experience applying AI technologies in education.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, or NVivo.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing assessments for emerging constructs.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience contributing to peer-reviewed publications or conference presentations.
