What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAT Verbal (English) Instructor/Tutor position at Educational Services Center, Inc.?
A verbal instructor is needed for our upcoming summer SAT prep intensive held at Holy Cross Academy, Fresh Meadows (Queens). This is to review the SAT reading/ writing section only. The upcoming summer course for which we are hiring is four sessions: Aug 10, 11, 12, 13 / 11:30 AM-1:00 PM. We offer courses on a rolling schedule throughout the school year. Commitment for now is just to the summer dates, with offers to teach throughout the school year prior to each course.
Applicants should be:
- Thoroughly familiar with reading/writing SAT subject matter and strategy
- Able to execute our lesson plan with ease
- Able to develop a strong rapport with high school juniors
- Extremely reliable with command of the classroom
