Head Boys Soccer Coach
2026-2027 School Year
Independence Local Schools in Cuyahoga County is looking for a High School Head Boys Soccer Coach for Independence High School. Previous coaching experience is preferred but not required. Must be organized, hard-working, and demonstrate a strong desire to help build the program K-12. The Head Boys Soccer Coach will oversee all phases of the program including, but not limited to, player development, monitoring academic success, community relations, youth involvement, and equipment inventory.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to the team that achieves academic and athletic success on a consistent basis. Monitors academic progress; develops training programs that are safe and effective for student-athletes; schedules games and practices in accordance with school policies.
Employment is pursuant upon appropriate background checks and the obtainment of proper CPR, Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Management Training, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and Pupil Activity Supervision Licensure from the Ohio Department of Education.
