Overview
We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic tutors to provide individualized, one-on-one instruction to students in reading, math, and ACT preparation. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with students and want to make a meaningful difference in their academic confidence and success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in reading, math, and/or ACT preparation
- Prepare for tutoring sessions and maintain organized records of student progress
- Maintain a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment
- Be dependable and arrive on time for scheduled tutoring sessions
Qualifications
- College degree OR currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Strong academic skills in reading, math, and/or ACT subject areas
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and ability levels
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, dependable, professional, and encouraging
- Previous tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or experience working with students is preferred, but not required
