You're the first point of contact for donors who have questions about their accounts, helping them navigate their way through their accounts, answering questions, supporting their goals, and providing guidance along the way. Founded in 1982 in Santa Rosa, CA, with a singular radio station, K-LOVE today owns and operates the nation's two largest Christian music radio networks (K-LOVE and Air1) with over 1,000 broadcast signals across all 50 states, streaming audio reaching around the world, and a growing family of media ministries including podcasts, books, films, concerts, and events. To succeed as a Donor Services Specialist you will:
- Be extremely detail oriented, organized, thorough, and efficient.
- Have a high work ethic and desire to help others on your team.
- Thrive in an environment of over-the-top customer service by being highly relational and consistently empathetic.
- Truly desire to pick up the phone and take inbound as well as make outbound calls to donors. (90% of your day is on the phone)
- Be comfortable and satisfied, sitting 6 hours a day.
- Be flexible moving between computer and manual processes.
- Be social, relational, caring, with others, but we do have a lot to accomplish, so able to balance that with getting to the work at hand.
- Can identify potential capacity in a donor for increased engagement opportunities.
- Have excellent verbal and written skills (ability to write in our brand voice).
- Be experienced in MS Office Products and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Be donor passionate, donor centric
- Bachelor’s Degree, or combination of education/training with relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service, administrative support, or donor-facing experience preferred.
- Experience with CRM or database systems highly desirable.
- Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in processing information, managing records, and completing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team goals and protocols.
- Sound judgment in handling confidential information and discerning sensitive donor matters.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop sincere business/Ministry relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to represent Ministry professionally and maintain listener confidentiality.
