PAY RANGE: $48,505 - $86,694 Annually

The Investment Representative will support branches in the South Valley that at this time includes Visalia, Tulare, Porterville, Hanford, and Paso Robles branches' (though this is subject to change based on coverage needs).
The candidate must preferably have their Series 6, 63, and 65; and CA life insurance* securities/insurance licenses and the SEI (Securities Industry Essentials), and be willing to obtain their Series 7 license within a 12 month period.

Duties For This Position Include
- Meet with existing and prospective clients to obtain an understanding of their investment needs, goals, and risk tolerance. Be able to provide suitable recommendations.
- Successful completion of various training courses, including on-line modules, covering Investment Representative required knowledge will be required.
- Work with Mutual Fund companies, Insurance companies, and broker/dealer employees on a consistent basis.
- Gather, assemble, and analyze information and data from a variety of sources.
- Prepare reports, hypotheticals, correspondence, and memos
- Schedule member appointments, process referral forms, and ensure investments are processed within required broker/dealer established timeframes.
- Process completed investment and/or insurance document packages and ensure all documents are in good order.
- Establish an effective follow-up system on submitted documents and required actions.
- Confirm scheduled member appointments, and maintain client files (securely).
- Effectively collaborate with co-workers, branch management teams, and the Program Manager to ensure clients receive guidance and solutions regarding their investment needs.
- Utilize marketing options provided by the BD and or EECU Marketing Department in the form of mailings, email blasts, and customized marketing materials to support existing and new prospective clients. Adherence to FINRA and BD rules regarding communications with the public is required.
- Assist in employer sponsored functions including but not limited to the annual meeting, financial workshops, and investment services workshops.
Position requirements:
- Strong computer skills in order to utilize various software programs.
- Ability to work independently, self-disciplined/motivated, and member service oriented.
- Ability to communicate and work with credit union executive level managers.
- Knowledgeable and up to date on economic conditions and investment/economic trends.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in a business related field.
- Proven prior and successful experience as an Investment Representative.
- Team player who shows initiative and can work independently.
- Be able to report to all assigned EECU branch locations.
- Pass Regulatory background check.
- Be approved by our Broker/Dealer as an Investment Representative.
- Clean Broker/Dealer Check record.
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
